The language project was launched by a small group of professionals dedicated to creating new and effective ways for young children to acquire basic language skills.   Our CDs are based on key publications and the advice of noted researchers in the field.  We have developed a special language-string format to help develop multilingual skills.  Every CD contains 25 languages -- with 25 pairs of native speakers.

The 25 languages heard on our CDs were selected with the assistance of the faculty and staff at the University of California at Berkeley and at Stanford University.

Our efforts are guided by the conviction that all children deserve a chance to dream and discover, to understand the world and their place in it, to reach their highest potential -- and above all -- to overcome the substantial barriers posed by language.  A wide range of topics is presented here -- on behalf of the staff at Snow Water, thanks for visiting our site.
